It s bad enough if you re an adult walking barefoot on said carpet but for babies and toddlers who crawl around on the carpet and put their hands in their mouths it can be quite dangerous. I took as many standard precautions as i could when it came to the build itself. Of course if you have short carpet on your floor the pc may be able to sit on that carpet with plenty of airflow underneath.
